The aircraft used is a Seminal PA-44 – Flight Cost $420.00 per hour

FAA Certified Flight Instructors - Cost $75.00 @ per hour

Ground Instructor Cost $75.00 @ hour

 

Based on the FAA minimum flight training required and Sierra’s estimated ground instruction the following is the estimated cost:

Dual Flight Hours (PA-44) – 3 hours @ $420.00 per hour                  = $1,260.00

1 on 1 Ground Instructor hours – 8 hours @ $75.00 per hour           =    $600.00

Pre/Post – 1 hour @ $75.00 per hour                                                   =       $75.00

E-Book/Materials                                                                                    =     $150.00

 

Total estimated flight and ground training cost:  $2,085.00.

Non-refundable application Fee - $150.00

FAA Check-ride – $800.00 + aircraft rental

FAA Check-ride Recheck - $600.00 + aircraft rental

Dress Code

 

Material: 2 white pilot shirts, 1 set of epaulets, 1 black tie. (To be provided by Sierra).  Applicant needs to be in full uniform: black pants, black belt, long black dress socks, and black dress shoes.

 

* Each person’s ability and availability to fly vary. Any additional flight training cost, use of aircraft cost, or instructor training cost will be the responsibility of training pilot.
