About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Dispatcher to join our operations team. The Aircraft Dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient planning, coordination, and monitoring of flights. Working closely with pilots, air traffic control, and ground personnel, the dispatcher helps develop flight plans, monitors weather conditions, and ensures regulatory compliance. This role is vital to maintaining the safety, punctuality, and operational success of our flight operations. Some key responsibilities are;
Developing and file flight plans compliant with FAA regulations and company policies.
Evaluating and monitoring weather conditions, aircraft performance, NOTAMs, and other operational factors.
Provide pilots with timely briefings on weather, route, and operational considerations.
Requirements
FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate (required)
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Understanding of FAA regulations, NOTAMs, and safety procedures.
Proficiency with flight planning systems, dispatch software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong knowledge of meteorology, air navigation, flight planning, and air traffic control procedures.
